Every photo on Uber Eats is a moment of decision-making. We helped the platform strengthen those moments by elevating over 1,500 dishes into imagery that was both authentic to each restaurant and consistent with Uber Eats’ standards. The impact was immediate: clearer choices, stronger restaurant presence, and a smoother path from craving to conversion.

For Uber Eats, the goal was to elevate the visual experience of the platform by transforming how customers engage with food imagery. Every dish image needed to feel authentic to its restaurant while adhering to Uber Eats’ global standards. The project aimed to help restaurants stand out, drive user engagement, and smooth the path from browsing to ordering. High-quality visuals translate directly into stronger conversions and a better overall platform experience.

Strategy

Consistency across digital platforms

We implemented a strategy centered on authenticity, clarity, and consistency. Over 1,500 dishes were professionally photographed to reflect each restaurant’s unique identity while maintaining a unified visual language aligned with Uber Eats’ brand guidelines. Localized imagery was created to feel personal and relevant for specific markets, supporting geo-targeted advertising, national campaigns, and outdoor promotions. By combining attention to detail, optimized compositions, and scalable assets, the visual system strengthens customer confidence, enhances menu clarity, and highlights the diversity and quality of offerings across the platform.

Staying true to UberEat’s visual guidelines

The resulting imagery was delivered across the Uber Eats ecosystem to enhance restaurant listings, marketing campaigns, and digital promotions. Photos were applied to menus, geo-targeted ads, outdoor campaigns, and national promotions, ensuring consistency and high impact across channels. The assets provided restaurant partners with a polished, professional presence that helps them compete effectively while improving the overall user experience for diners. Together, these applications create a cohesive, visually compelling platform where every dish tells its story and drives engagement from craving to conversion.
