VARA is a contemporary rental development located in the heart of Downtown Surrey, positioned between Surrey City Centre and Guildford Mall. Surrounded by cultural venues, diverse dining, and institutions such as Simon Fraser University’s Surrey campus, the community reflects the vibrancy and multicultural character of the neighbourhood—offering residents a lifestyle shaped by connection, convenience, and urban vitality.
Objective
Defining a Voice for Modern Surrey Living
The aim was to capture and elevate VARA’s existing brand foundation, refining its positioning, personality, and tone to better represent its setting and audience. The identity needed to communicate more than just modern residences; it had to capture the rhythm of Downtown Surrey itself: its diversity, growth, and strong community spirit. By aligning messaging with these qualities, the brand presents VARA as a place where contemporary living and neighbourhood culture intersect naturally.

Clean layouts establish structure and legibility, while bold typography and vibrant colour accents inject personality and memorability.
